O Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão (SBT) é uma rede de televisão brasileira formada por emissoras pertencentes ao empresário e apresentador Silvio Santos. Antes era chamada de TV Studios (TVS) e em 18 de agosto de 1981 a TVS era uma das afiliadas do Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão, e a marca SBT só foi usada anos depois.

O SBT tem mostrado interesse em veicular seriados americanos. Desde então os canais de TV dos EUA ofereceram para o Brasil pacotes de séries produzidas pela Warner, Paramount e outras. Desde então, o SBT se filiou ao estúdio de dublagem Wan Mächer, para possibilitar as dublagens das séries.
